The Centre on Monday banned the export of all sorts of onions with quick impact, a transfer aimed toward rising the provision and curbing costs of the commodity within the home market. “The export of all sorts of onions… Is prohibited with quick impact,” the Directorate Basic of International Commerce (DGFT) mentioned in a notification.
The DGFT, an arm of the commerce ministry, offers with exports and imports-related points. The provisions underneath transitional association shall not be relevant underneath this notification.
