Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his desire to star in Hollywood movies after he retires from football.

Football stars like David Beckham, Vinnie Jones and Eric Cantona have featured in numerous feature-length productions earlier. Ronaldo also wants to try his skills in acting once he is done playing football.

“One of the things that I seek to challenge myself in, for example, is acting in a movie,” the Portugal captain was quoted as saying by ESPNFC at Dubai International Sports Conference on Saturday night.

“The moment my body is no longer responding in the right way on the field, then it would be the time to leave.

“I hope I live more than 50 years to learn new things and face different challenges and try to find solutions for them.”

“The love of football is the main motive in achieving all the titles I ever won,” he added. “There are no special miracles or secrets in my success story or any other success story. Rather, it is a great dedication to what you do.

“At the age of 34, I still have that fitness through diligence and hard work to get titles.”

Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Italian champions Juventus, said he sees himself playing in the near future. He added that he wants to “continue my studies after retiring from football.”

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo has won Champions Leagues with both United and Real Madrid, and league titles in England, Spain and Italy.

Ronaldo won the Serie A title with Juventus last season, and Bianconeri are joint-top with Inter going into the Christmas break this year.

Ronaldo recently became the only player in Europe’s top five leagues to hit double figures in all competitions in each of the last 15 seasons.
