New Delhi: Markets ended within the unfavourable zone on Thursday as poor macroeconomic information weighed traders sentiments.
The BSE Sensex ended decrease by 242.37 factors or 0.76 p.c at 31,443.38. Alternatively the NSE Nifty fell by 71.85 factors or 0.78 p.c to 9,199.05.
Main losers within the Sensex pack had been ONGC, NTPC, Kotak Financial institution, Bharti Airtel, Titan, Bajaj Auto, Powergrid, Ultrachem, HDFC Financial institution, Bajaj Finance, Maruti and L&T, falling by over 4.54 per cent.
Solely 5 Sensex constituents completed within the inexperienced — IndusInd Financial institution, M&M, Reliance Industries, Axis Financial institution and Tech Mahindra, rising as much as 6.58 per cent.
