The BSE Sensex tanked 633.76 factors or 1.63 per cent to shut at at 38,357.18 whereas the NSE Nifty plunged 193.60 factors or 1.68 per cent to shut at 11,333.85.
Main losers within the Sensex pack have been Axis Financial institution, Tata Metal, SBI, NTPC, Bharti Airtel, ITC, ICICI Financial institution, IndusInd Financial institution, Titan, HDFC, Solar Pharma, and Powergrid, falling upto 4.07 %.
