South Africa all-rounder Solo Nqweni, who has been battling Guillan-Barré syndrome since final July, has now been identified with lethal coronavirus.
Taking to his official Twitter deal with, the 26-year-old revealed that he has already been battling GBS and TB for a while now and has now been examined constructive for COVID-19.
“So final 12 months I obtained GBS, and have been battling this illness for the previous 10 months and I’m solely half manner by my restoration. I obtained TB, my liver failed and my kidney failed. Now at the moment I examined constructive for corona virus. I don’t perceive why all of that is occurring to me,” he tweeted.
The announcement means Nqweni has now turn into the third cricketer after Pakistan’s Zafar Sarfraz and Scotland’s Majid Haq to have contracted the virus.
Nqweni has appeared for South Africa Below-19 crew in 2012. Since then, he has been contracted to Jap Province and the Warriors franchise.
In April 2019, Nqweni smashed a blistering knock of 95 whereas batting for Jap Province at No.7 through the three-day provincial cup last.
