MUMBAI: The BCCI’s choice to host the third version of the Girls’s T20 Problem within the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from November 1-10, involving three groups, has happy Board Apex Council member and former India ladies’s captain Shantha Rangaswamy.
Rangaswamy believes that the announcement of the event is a reminder to those that have been pessimistic about the way forward for ladies’s cricket in India after the BCCI cancelled the India ladies’s tour to England for a Tri-Collection in September as a consequence of a the covid state of affairs, that girls’s cricket within the nation is in secure arms.
“I welcome IPL Governing Council chairman Brijesh Patel’s assertion that three groups will play within the ladies’s T20 Problem this 12 months.
